3@1 Franchise

Now is the time to engage with the 3@1 Business Centre franchise‚Ķ

Established in 1999, 3@1 Franchising today sports stores throughout South Africa and recently opened an outlet in Windhoek’s Maerua Mall. Founder Chris Dunn is a vastly experienced franchisor and was responsible for securing and developing a host of leading franchise concepts in South Africa, including Cash Converters and PostNet. In 2003 Belinda Dunn joined the team bringing with her extensive marketing and sales experience in the retail and print industries.

3@1 is looking for innovative thinkers with entrepreneurial drive to join its thriving network during the course of 2015 and beyond. “Up to 20 franchised outlets are planned for 2016 providing a great opportunity for entrepreneurs in various regions,” says Chris.

The brand, which offers a one-stop retail opportunity in the business and communications sector, has identifi ed a number of new and vibey shopping centre developments in key towns across South Africa and Namibia for expansion in 2016 and 2017. 2015 will see the brand forge ahead into our neighbouring countries, with Botswana, Zambia and Angola first on the list.

3@1 franchisees focus on offering a print-togo service, including colour and B&W digital prints, copies and large format printing, as well as Kodak photographic solutions, DHL international and local courier services, internet, postal and secretarial services, and the sale of peripherals like ink cartridges, fl ash drives, paper, photo books, block mounting and more.

Prospective franchisees should be eager to evolve alongside this growing brand to meet the ever-changing communication and technology requirements of consumers, businesses, other tenants and landlords in their centres.

An outgoing personality and a desire to support and service business owners and consumers are key. Some retail or management experience is an advantage but not a necessity. Above all franchisees must enjoy building relationships with customers. Franchisees come from all sorts of backgrounds. “From ex-farmers to recent graduates, corporate players and housewives, all have been attracted by the broad range of business products and services and flexibility of the brand, as well as the personal support on offer from the franchise team,” says Chris.

3@1’s proven business formula is transferred via in-depth training as well as continuous product development and upgrades, technological adaptation and sustained franchisor backup. Franchise prospects are offered assistance with site location, store set-up, a full turnkey opening, and full training.

3@1 Business Centre Franchising is a full turnkey offering, meaning that the franchisor team is alongside you all the way, from the planning phase to store opening. Initial training takes place in an existing franchise and then again prior to the launch of your franchised outlet. Thereafter the operational staff helping you to open your store will spend a further week with you in your own business centre to ensure you and your staff are profi client and comfortable. Ongoing support and training is available throughout the franchise relationship.

Individual and multi-unit opportunities are available locally and in our neighbouring countries. Besides a standalone full-store option measuring between 60m2 and 80m2, you can opt for an Express Store option measuring between 30m2 and 45 m2 either in a regional mall, strip mall or stand-alone site. 3@1 has also introduced a store within-a-store concept to take advantage of sites with extra retail space, for example inside video stores where 20m2 will suffice.
